Does it usually take this long?

I ordered the Power Shared Hosting and a domain (suddenlymonday.org) on Sept. 1, and got my user/pass/IP, etc.

However, when I go to suddenlymonday.org, it's not up yet.

It's been almost a week.
Does it usually take this long?
Or is there something I'm doing wrong?

I haven't set up my name servers yet; I'm not even sure how to do that.
This will be my first site, and I'm new to everything.

I can access my cPanel, though.

File a ticket with support, http://desk.surpasshosting.com .

Whois is showing your domain, suddenlymonday.org, with surpass name servers (already taken care of by surpass), since the first of Sept., yet the parent records can not be found. I suspect a typo somewhere if you can get to your control panel with your IP#.

Does your welcome e-mail give NS1024.DIZINC.COM as a nameserver? Is your IP# 72.29.89.95?

In my e-mail, it says:

NAMESERVER INFORMATION:
=======================
If you ordered a new domain during the signup process, simply login to the billing system (see Billing System Login Information below) and select the "My Sites" menu at the top of the screen, and click on "My Domains".

ns1066.dizinc.com
ns1067.dizinc.com

I did order a new domain with the signup, and I'm trying to change my nameserver information... it asks for the nameserver, and my IP.

My IP is 66.7.194.224, and I tried both ns1066.dizinc.com and ns1067.dizinc.com, but both brought up:

There was an error processing your request!
Details of the error(s) are as follows:

ErrCount: 1
err1: This domain part of **ns1066.dizinc.com** does not match ****

Name server information then would be:

ns1066.dizinc.com ---> IP# is 66.7.194.225

ns1067.dizinc.com ---> IP# is 66.7.194.226

Your directory index is showing at:
http://66.7.194.224/~suddenly/

Make a file named index.htm with the word Hello in it and upload to your public_html directory. The link above should show "Hello", or refer to go to http://66.7.194.224/~suddenly/vedette/ for your "hello world" page.

It still says "error" when trying to change my nameserver.

I can edit http://66.7.194.224/~suddenly/ perfectly, though.

What am I doing wrong with the nameserver?

I don't use surpass for my domains and have not seen their control panel. I can only suggest you ask support to sort it out for you.
