FTP Error-425

Hi all. I've been with Surpass for a couple years with and am as happy as can be, I just signed up my dayjob website for hosting with Surpass too.

I've been trying for a couple days to upload the new site via Dreamweaver MX with no luck. I get connect to the server just fine, but then get an "FTP error, 425: could not open data connection to port" I double checked the passwords and such, I disabled the Firewalls and security programs but am still not having any success. Any help and advice? www.minnesotawomenwork.org

P.S. I am able to sign in to the cpanel

Well, I would suggest to try toggling passive mode, see if that works. If not, try connecting with another FTP client...

peanut, are you still having this error? Please open a support ticket if so, it may be a server side issue. Please update us here as well if you have a moment so we can see what was wrong.

I'm having the same problem, it was working fine yesterday, but then whenever I try and upload I get an error "you do not have permission etc etc". I'm on server Spiffy btw.
