Fantastico

Hi

When you install a script with fantastico does it charge you for the script? Because I just installed a script and then googled it for some documentation and realized that it cost money. So will surpass bill me for that script now? I've uninstalled it now just to try and be safe.

Thanks in advance for answering the stupid question, I've never used fantastico before.

I think that all of the scripts in Fantastico are free. Some of the versions of the scripts there also have licensed versions which cost something.

I'm sure you weren't charged. You probably will be required to pay if you remove the author's branding on your site.

Thanks snide. I'm sure you're right because thinking about it, if it would cost extra there should be a notice about it somewhere. I've submitted a ticket to support for absolute clarification though.

Some programs require a license to operate. You aren't automatically charged or billed for this, it should provide a link that you can follow to the script's website, and you would purchase a license from there.
