Well you don't add a MySQL database to a sub-domain. You just create them via cPanel and then use them with whatever script you want.

Alright, thanks, so I can't let anyone else create a database for their subdomain, right? Also, is there a way to make them be able to login to phpMyAdmin using their own username and password? In case they want to add tables to their database.

It seems what you are looking for is a reseller, which can allow you to give someone x amount of space, bandwidth, ftp accounts, mySQL databases, access to their own cPanel/PHPMyAdmin, and so forth.
A shared account cannot be used for such things. So, you may just want to make the databases for them, and make any future changes for them, or you may want to consider getting a reseller account.

Umm, you could create the database with its own user. Then just install a copy of phpMyAdmin within their folder. It will only have access to databases of that user. You could even configure it only allow access to a single database.

That is the home page, I have never installed a copy of PHPMyAdmin on a remote host before, but basically, just download the script and follow the read-me/install file that is included with it. Hopefully that can help you.
