Full backup

I downloaded a full backup from my old host and when I go to my cpanel (Surpass) and click on backups and then go to Restore a Home Directory Backup and upload my full backup, it doesn't appear in my public_html folder. Am I doing something wrong?

Also how long does it take for the nameservers to change?

Ah, another question, when I add a new subdomain how do I set a disk space quata?

If you downloaded a FULL backup, then you will have to send it to Surpass tech support for them to restore it. Restoring a Home Directory back up will only work if you downloaded a home directory back up.

I don't think I need the full one though, I'll just upload my home directory. =)

Now I only wonder how to set a subdomain's disk space quota...

No problem

It usually takes 24 - 48 hours for your domain name to propagate. You can see more information on DNS Propagation -> http://wiki.surpasshosting.com/index...ns_propagation

You set sub-domain quota via the FTP manager in cPanel.

I just was a bit worried..

I'll try to add disk space quata right away!

Wait, one more question, I see many users have their server names or what you call them in their signatures, like you have SH106, so how do I know what my server is?

If your domains has already resolved you can enter it in the form on this page and it'll let you know what server you are on...

Ok, everyone's tired of me, but I have another question. lol I'd like to link back to Surpass and I wonder if there's something like referer link that I can put on my site? Also, are there any small banners I can display on my site?

They might be alitte more large then what you are looking for, but they should still look good sized down abit.
