webmail for a noob

Ok, just starting out with Surpass and trying to get the webmail working. I set up an account in cpanel and when I go to roundcube under webmail I can send but not receive mail. I tried to login using mainemillers.com/webmail and that sends me to mainemillers.com:2095 and a blank page. Do I need to install roundcube in a directory or setup some config files somewhere? I asked support and was told to check roundcube since it's a 3rd party script.

Thanks,
matt

Did you install roundcube or are you just trying to reach the "regular" webmail apps (horde, etc.)?

If you installed roundcube and your question is about this particular app, you need to go to its directory. I don't know if you can install it in a directory named "webmail" as normally domain.com/webmail redirects to the standard webmail apps. I would try installing it in its own directory.

I didn't install it but did see it under the webmail in cpanel along with horde and squirrel mail. I did find that if I go to:
mainemillers.com:2095/roundcube/index.php
I can get there. I think that there will be a steep learning curve for me. I set up a website about 7 years ago for work and really haven't done much since so it's going to be lots of reading. I need to find some good sources for cpanel and the stuff in there so I don't bother you all too much

thanks,
matt

Oh, that's excellent news! Kayla had said new servers would have Roundcube a while back but I hadn't heard this actually happened.

There must be a problem with the link at the /webmail address. Glad you figured it out. You clearly don't need that much help but don't worry about "bothering" us - this is the place to ask questions! We're glad to help, if we can. By the way, welcome to Surpass and Surmunity!
