Okay, I've as much as made up my mind to switch to Surpass for my site hosting, but I have one question; is there any way I can switch from my old host to Surpass without losing my databases and files from my old host?

If you old hold uses Cpanel and your site is not excessively large, then yes, we can do the transfer for you. Just send an email to support with the IP, domain, username, and password of the old account after you sign up and we will get it done for you.

Depends on many things, but mainly what you have installed. If your using MySQL already, make backups of the databases. You can ftp all of your files to you local computer and then upload them to your new server. The problem will be that your configurations will be different and you'll need to change each, so the best option would be to reinstall each component from the original package and restore the databases once your ready.

Fantastico makes the installation easy, assuming the scripts you have now are in Fantastico.

Both very helpful answers if you have cPanel .. or if you do not.
