New Domain and Hosting
I just recently purchased hosting through surpass and also signed up for the domain during the same process. At first it charged me nothing and then adjusted my invoice to the correct $16.99. I shortly received my cpanel login and ftp login and all that fun stuff, yet my domain doesn't work. Should it take longer than 3 days for my domain to go active? Under my account my hosting has a green marker and my domain has a red marker saying error. Whenever I try to go to my domain it says, "Serve not Found" Any help?

Have you changed the nameservers for your domain yet... (you should have received them in your welcome email)?
If you have changed them correctly then yes it could take up to three days for YOUR ISP to updates it's information. This time varies from ISP to ISP... there is nothing you can do to speed up this process. You can read up more on DNS Propagation through our wiki: http://wiki.surpasshosting.com/index...ns_propagation Could you possible post your domain name so we can look into it (we are just users... but we know some tricks to look into the status of things)

My domain name is southground.com and I registered it with surpass the same time I did my hosting using the $1 promotion to try out after seeing it on a forum for kicks. Something that's bothering though is if I go anywhere to check the availability of my domain name it says it's available, yet I registered it with surpass???

you need to send a ticket to support to get this settled asap:
https://desk.surpasshosting.com/inde...kets&_a=submit select surpassdomains.com as the department and provide an email for followup... make sure to reference your purchase confirmation number for your domain. By chance when you login to surpassdomains and head over to where you saw that red dot.... is there any text next to the red dot like; "registration error","contact support" etc? If so this usually means that something happend with their registrar enom... you just need to let surpass know that the registration didn't go through and they will surely take care of it for you.

no problem, they'll let you know what happend. After they correct everything you will need to do one more step and that is changing your domain's nameservers which can be found in your welcome email. If you need help with that just reply to this thread and we'll guide you through it.
