3 domains, 3 different sites 1 account got questions!

alright.

This is what I would like to do, but I dont know HOW to do it.

I already have one acct all set up and its been honk dory for the past 2 years. But I dont need nor can afford another hosting account at this time, so this is what I want to do.

I have www.ihumpedurcat.com as my primary hosting acctount

I wanna sub www.juliefoser.com under the ihumped account, so when u go to juliefoser.com its its own website - atleast appears that way

I also want to do the same thing with www.carriganjr.com which ius going to be a business website, but would also like it to appear as its own site, so when u look at the URL in the browser it says 'http://www.carriganjr.com' yet all its files and htm files are actually under say, www.ihumpedurcat.com/carrigan
(as an example) how do I go about setting this up?

Log into your cpanel account, and select the "addon" domain option.

Quote:
There are three fields cPanel asks for when creating an addon domain.

1. "New Domain Name:" You will put in the newdomain.com do not put www in the name!

2. "Username/directory/subdomain Name:" This will be the folder cPanel creates in your main accounts public_html folder. MAKE SURE that the name you give it doesn't already have a folder. Example... If you want to give it the username chris. You cannot have a folder in your account named chris already. If you do and still try creating the username for the addon domain to be chris you will corrupt multiple things on your account.

3. "Password:" fill in any password you want here.

One other thing. The domains need to be already registered with some registrar and the Name Servers changed to match the Surpass Name Servers for your ihumpedurcat.com domain; otherwise, the add-on procedure will complaign/fail because the domain doesn't exist and/or name server information does not match.

well I got 2 of the 3 to work, however the 3rd is refusing to work. I looked at the other 2 for reference, and everything matches up the way its supposed to be however it is absolutely refusing to work, keeps coming back as 404.

however the other 2, work fine. I dont get it.

I did carriganjr.com first.

then tried juliefoser.com but it wont budge.

then, tried julzieq.com and that works fine, did it in that order, went back to the second one, and it still wont work, i dont get it!
