Err, hi.
I just registered for a domain name and the standard plan here at Surpass Hosting, but I'm really not sure what to do next. I haven't gotten any sort of email, and I've never had a domain or anything before, so I have no idea what anyone's talking about here on the boards. Will there be instructions of some sort in the email, or something? If someone could fill me in on what I'm supposed to do next, I would really, really appreciate it. Well, thanks. |

when you signed up you should have gotten a Payment reciept, and a welcome message..

Yes, now I've got them. I have this 'Temporary Web Path' thing. I guess I have that until my domain is resolved, right? I dunno. ><;
Anyway, with that solved, how long will it be until I can make changes to my real website? Or is the temporary path-thing a part of it already...? GAH! I'm confusing myself even more. |

the site should resolve fast, I just ordered a domain and it resolved in 15 minutes, but the average has been 2 days. I am seen as much as 1 week in the old days.

You can make changes to your website using the IP/username combination in your email and it's the real thing. Once DNS resolves your site will look just like it does using http://xxx.xxx.xx.xxx/~username
