Just in case some one looks at this as a result of a forum search. The number is unlimited as long as the total size of your databases does not exceed the disk quota allocated by the plan. MySQL Databases, Email Accounts, Webpages, and files are all added together when determining amount of disk space used.

correction

unlimited databases are available as long as you are not someone who is a longtime customer of surpass hosting, someone who bought the learner plan. In that case, you're told you can have unlimited only if you upgrade.

At the time of the posting the information was correct concerning currently available plans. Never heard of a learner plan.. before my time I guess and thus plead ignorance concerning it. Curious, how much did/does that plan cost?

It was $23 dollars a year - insane really.

We retired that plan years ago and do require anyone to upgrade the plan if they want new features/resources.

But any client still on that plan is free to keep it.

We do appreciate that fact that you are a long time customer though. But we no longer have the Learner plan in our system and your account needs to be migrated into the new system as well if you want to make changes.
