www folder not working, what am I doing wrong?
Hi! a surpass beginner here;
I think I managed to point my domain (joseperdicion.com) to these servers; ns1171.dizinc.com ns1172.dizinc.com and I uploaded my database through phpmyadmin and my website through ftp to www folder. When ever I try to access to http://www.joseperdicion.com I get the apache "great success" screen. If I try to access folders I created like this one; http://www.joseperdicion.com/wordpress/ I get this error; Not Found The requested URL /wordpress/ was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Apache/1.3.37 Server at sh126.surpasshosting.com Port 80 what am I doing wrong? |

Upload to the public_html folder, not the www folder.

www is a link to public_html.
also. looks like your domain is pointed to eforwardct.name-services.com You can check it out here... It can take up to 48 hrs to propagate. You can check your website by going directly to your ip and username... http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/~username/ Dont forget the trailing slash.

(1) You dont need to reupload.
(2) Double check your DNS settings at your host. If the DNS has the correct surpass nameservers, ns1171.dizinc.com ns1172.dizinc.com then you just have to wait it out....

When I do a whois lookup for your domain at http://whois.domaintools.com/joseperdicion.com I see this as your DNS entries:
