After finally switching my dns I now have another problem.
Im a freelance Illustrator and got into the idea of hosting my own site. Instead of using the standard software and tools to create my site I created a web-ready PDF portfolio using adobe Indesign. I am now having trouble uploading my portfolio on cpanel. My efforts have so far been unsuccessful with my file being unable to view once logged on my site. www.john-mcnally.co.uk. Am I doing something wrong? I was led to believe that I only have to have my domain name, host and then to upload my PDF pholio and away I go??? |

You gave the PDF file the wrong extension... you need to make sure that the extension for a PDF is .pdf .... I downloaded that file onto my computer and changed the extension to .pdf and it opened. But it seems to a a "different" type of PDF that forces full screen animation. I don't think many people will be pleased with that because there is no forewarning. Besides, I don't think you can just expect that type of PDF to play right inside of your browser window, that's what flash is for.
