Hey! I would like to run email service for visitors. You know something like gmail but a lot smaller and easy to use. Is there any option in cpanel or good script to use?
thanks |

I actually liked some squirrel mail because I had it customized so I could read it on my mobile phone. RoundCube mail is okay. There are some things about the UI I wasn't crazy about; e.g. can't seem to collapse folders. It's very Thunderbird looking to me.
I haven't found one I'm absolutely in love with, though. http://www.squirrelmail.org http://roundcube.net |

I personally love Roundcube but it's still in its early stages. It will be much more feature-rich as it continues to be developed...
As for giving out free accounts, if you are in a shared environment, it is always advisable you know to whom you are giving out email addresses. It's not a good idea to give them out to just anyone (like Hotmail, Gmail, etc.) as this can create headaches, including but not limited to blacklisting of your server's IPs... If you have a dedi, then I suppose you can do whatever you like. ![]()

Benjamin is completely right. You should def. think about that before beginning this venture as it can be risky for the said reasons .

I was thinking about that too, it's risky, but I had that everyone.net email and I think some people really using my domain as their primary account. So maybe I should give them a chance. It's not for anyone who want it, just several people.
Or maybe I don't need any service, I could add them on cpanel. I have to think about this thanks for your answers!
