Possible to change main domain?

I was going to have a site with some friends, and the friend had the domain, and the domain was never pointed to our server http://66.7.201.40/~cujpybvo/ but now I want an entirely new domain name is there any way to do that? If not and should I park a domain or addon a domain?

Yes, sales can do it for you. Please submit a ticket and they'll get everything taken care of.

Do I have to buy the domain manually, and it should point to my site automatically. Or will they know how to charge me for the domain? $16 seems a bit steep for a domain but I don't trust anyone else besides surpass.

Sorry for this double post, but I submitted the ticket, paid for the change. When do I pay for the actual domain?

You'll need to buy the domain. If you want to use Surpass, you should just be able to register it at http://www.surpassdomains.com/ . You will need to make sure that it points to the right nameservers. They should be able to do that for you if you let them know.
