Red face [Answered] Transfering my files??!!

I bought the new year plan a while back [Dec] then I didn't have time to backup my files on my current host till now. So I was wondering how do I transfer my backup files? My friend said that we can't transfer MSQL databases so everything in my Wordpress right now will be gone?

Also I haven't been able to log in to the forum for a few weeks now. I use FireFox. But when I use Internet explorer it works. :/

So how do I transfer my files over AFTER I changed my nameservers. I haven't changed my nameservers yet cos I'm unsure how to upload backup files and such. Can someone help me? Thanks. It's my first time. Haha.

lol unless there is a problem with the database, i dont see why you cant back it up? if wordpress can access the database, then you can to. just use the same user/pass. install phpmyadmin if you dont already have it, or if you have shell access, you should be able to create a backup

if your old host uses cpanel, and you still have access, i *believe* surpass will move your account without charge to your account here. not sure about non-cpanel servers though.

And if you don't have Cpanel from your old server, then you will have to manually do the transfer through FTP.

Great, so then submit a ticket to support and kindly ask them if they can help transfer your files! =)
