Site Transfer & MySQL Errors
Just when I thought I could go to sleep after finally settling into Surpass, I have a problem.
I had my site transfered from my old host including my old cPanel data but there's a problem with the MySQL databases it seems. Everything's intact, all users connected to correct databases but the script installs can't connect to said databases. I switch to PHP4 to see if it made a difference but nope.. Also, pages not relying on MySQL (but use PHP) recieve an internal server error. Help! Edit: Oh and as for why I didn't go directly to the help desk, I feel bad for the workers there. I've sent in enough tickets as it is! Last edited by Moochan; February 25th, 2008 at 8:53 PM. |

You sound savvy so I'm thinking that everything matches up like this already:
moochan_thedatabase moochan_moochan Was the other host using cPanel as well? Because if so paths are probably similar. |

I just submitted a ticket but I'm still interested in seeing what you all have to say.
MySQL databases and users match with my cPanel username, yup! And yupyup to my old host having cPanel, they have cPanel 11. I'm fairly sure it'll be something silly in the end as it always is with my problems "I forgot to add a (insert someting like a period or slash)??!" Something silly and sigh-invoking like that. |
