Colocation Packages

I have a question about your colocation packages.

Do you guys host Tower type servers as well or jsut rack 1u - 2u for 90 bucks a month?

I'm interested in a dedicated server sometime in the future but for the ones you guys have ready to launch for the lowest price range only have 1 80GB hard drive and no backup drive. If I had my own dedicated server I would want at least 200GB of storage with 2 drives on a raid 1 config so building my own is cheaper for me in the long run.

I'm just curious if it has to be a rack style or if you guys host tower type servers too.

We do colo tower servers but I'm not sure what class they fall under as far as U's go

Official word from the surpass support depot is that towers are 4u

so in other words I should just grab my wallet and buy a 1u or 2u server!

OR you could buy four 1u's OR two 2u's!

You should be able to find a good 1U or 2U server on eBay for about $250-300. Spend another $100 on extra drives and you'll be perfectly fine.

yeah i'm looking around. I just need something more than 80GB and I must have a raid 1 config so i'll just toss something together myself if I'm going to do it.

I'm all about custom building. I build my own pcs too!
