Dedicated To Reseller

I've taken over a friends webhosting business, ran out of a surpass dedicated and it in no way needs a dedicated server, it can fit in a reseller or two easy. My question is, How would I go about transfering everything from the dedicated to the new reseller?

Thanks

This is really not encouraged because there may have been a reason why it was moved to a dedicated server. If there is high usage on that server then downgrading is definitely not recommended.

But if you already submitted a ticket for that we can look into it and see if there will be any problems downgrading

As Dan said, how are you sure that it does not need a dedicated? If you are judging only by the number of accounts that wouldn't be an accurate way.

None of the users have big sites. The biggest strain on the server is caused by awstats. This guy upgraded to a dedicated from a reseller when had had 5 people. It was unneeded.

Was it suggested that he get a server or did he want one himself? Maybe he had some big business plans.
