OK I just created a new account here with you guys because for the same $10 I'm currently spending on hosting I can get so much better stuff with you guys - you rock!
Anyways on to my question: I am currently in the process of transferring my domain (kainjow.com) to godaddy.com. Once that goes through I will change the DNS so it goes to surpass. How long will that take to become in effect? I want to have as little down time as possible for my website. Kevin :apple:

So during that time would my website be unavailable or is the transfer instant but just takes time for it to happen?

[/b][/quote]If your site is still hosted, ask them to keep it up for a few more days. Point your DNS to both the old host and the new. That way, your site will be up, but people will go to the old host. After say 3 days, remove your old hosts DNS. very little down time that way. Good-luck. |
