This is a dumb question, and maybe I will not get an answer.
But I will never know unless I ask. not having NT servers is surpass set up for ASP pages? I don't know how to find out other than asking here. Thanks for your time. ![]() |

Quick Answer: No.
Longer Answer: Setting up ASP to work on Linux server's takes more work then ASP is really worth. It's also buggy. I suggest you look into PHP. |

There are no dumb questions here. Ask whatever.
Surpass doesn't support IIS or Active Server Pages. There is a way to do this yes, but it's very kludgy and expensive. Surpass Hosting strives to bring you the highest quality and performance for your dollar. ASP/IIS liscensing schemas run counter to that goal. |

I might have known that there was a catch to using ASP.
I have this web building program that was baught as a gift and it supports asp but it suggest that you use their hosting. Now I understand why. $$$$$ Thanks for your reply and help. I guess I will stick with what I know. Which isn't much. Thanks for your help ![]() |

Theres all kinds of resources out there to learn PHP
http://www.phpfreaks.com/ http://www.php.net You can also post questions in the PHP/mySQL section of the forum. If you know ASP, PHP will be no problem. Just a thought. |
