Impatient b*gger

I signed up for arnists.com yesterday ~ 11 GMT. It's now coming up on 17:00 gmt and still no ping or trace to http://arnists.com. I'm using traceroute.org (a fine site for detecting network problems) so it's not just a local DNS problem. I show up fine in some whois databases but not all. surpassdomains.com says 1 business day and 2 days if there are any extenuating circumstances (server outage etc.)

I sent an email to <email deleted> about 11 o'clock and have yet to receive an answer.

hi arnists.

couple of things

please update your signature to include your server name and URL ( i get that its arnists.com ) but update the signature anyway.

second thing is - even after updating a domain record it takes up to 72 hours for the DNS tables to propagate worldwide.

third thing - emailing individual staff members is not the way to get support.

you need to email supportsurpasshosting.com - that account is watched 24/7/365

This I knew, I tried tracing from 5 points within the US. Where are the servers physically?

I do, I do. Oddly enough I chose this hosting company on the strength of a review on a blog (somewhere) written by a leaving customer. He seemed so sad to have to leave.
