I'm Brain-Farting
I'm going to be moving rcannabisclub.org to spocannabis.org and also keep spocannabis.com parked too. (for the .com people) Well, Im brain-farting how to do this... Im sure I'll remember again, but could you please give me a refresher..
Thanx, Barking-Cat PS; I told the people Im doing this for to get all thier email so they wont loose it, or will they still be able to still get their rcannabisclub.org email after the move or will it be totally lost? Thanx Again Surpass! |

are they both on the same server?
You need to PARK one domain on top of the other, if both have the 'exact same content'. If one is a division of another, create a directory for the new domain and ADDON the domain to that directory. John

They must be parked on the same server, it's working already and has been working for the last year. They just want to use
 spocannabis.org and not rcannabisclub.org for thier email extensions. So I was going to make spocannabis their primary email. We both own the .com and .org domain extensions, just need to do the switch. I just wanted to see if there was a easy check list someone had to offer. I guess Ill open a ticket soon. |

support may have an easier way, but if they're already parked on each other you need to go into the mail control panel. You'll see in the dropdown box for creating a new account that you can select either of the domains.
Once you confirm this, then you can simply set up an ALIAS (redirect) from one domain to the other. So, lets say you have "fred rcannabisclub.org".you can create an alias that says "fred newdomainname >> fredrcannabisclub.org".The server will then send any email sent to either address into that mailbox. If you want to change your 'sent from' email address, you just have to do that in your email client program.... John
