If you go to MYSQL in cpanel, you'll see your database.
Also, in the left column of Cpanel, you'll see how much space the database is using. John

I see that but I can't see any of the files or directories I was looking for. I replied back to support and I'm assumeing they shall get back to me ASAP since they ROCK in the responce time so far! :reddance:

Ah yes. They do rock. The next bit is installing your board software and pointing it to that database.

Oh so I need to do a complete reinstall of the board? This is the info I am looking for..YAY! So do I reinstall it fresh or can I reinstall it with the hacked files intact or is all of that a no go? Call me stupid because I thought by making the sql file from my other host and having support restore the db here that it would all magically appear and I wouldn't have to reinstall everything

They do have cpanel...the support guys here told me to go to my other host and make a complete back up of my db over there and load it into my db over here and I did then they emailed and said it was restored. I had no idea they weren't moving the board or whatever since that is what I originally asked of them in the support ticket and the above was the advice I got from them on how to go about getting that done.
Now I'm lost, I dunno what was exactly done? |
