FrontPage Publish URL?
Hi all,
Just joined and want to upload my site files even before my domain name clicks with Surpass. Specifically, I want to publish a previously created web with FrontPage 2003 onto my server here. I installed FP extensions already but can't yet figure out what URL I'm supposed to tell FP to publish to. I tried: IP (alone) http://IP http://IP/~username http://IP/~username/public_html But none work, I get the same error: "your server doesn't have FP extensions installed," despite the control panel here saying I do. I don't want anything to do with FTP'ing, this site must be published thru FP as to allow all my web components to function. I did a forum search on this but found no final answer. Any ideas? Hi -
Frontpage 'publish' does not work until the DNS name has propagated.
