basic questions about a reseller account

I have a couple really stupid questions about my reseller account and I would appreciate any help anyone can provide.

first off, i have the surpass reseller account for 10 bucks a month.

1. How do i add other domains that I want to host? i know within cpanel i have the option to add on domains but it says i can only add 1 which with the reseller account I should be able to add more than just one so im assuming i am looking in the wrong place.

2. If i wanted to reset my account as if i had just barely signed up for an account how would i go about doing that?

Thanks

Garrett (an obvious newbie to surpass)

1. You have 2 separate spaces - the one for reselling, the free one that Surpass provides for your domain. The cPanel you are looking at is for that free space. To host other domains, you will need to log into WHM, and create a package (this will define a package by name that lists disk space, transfer, # of email accounts, etc...). You can then create accounts using WHM. Those domains will reside in your reseller space.

I hope that makes sense.

2. I'm afraid I don't understand this question. Can you try to explain?

Thanks.

John

PS. Welcome to Surpass!!

Failure is not an option. It comes standard with all Microsoft products.

So in order to get that setup I have to pay for WHM correct? because i dont think the surpass reseller account comes with WHM.

the second question. What i was wondering is how do i reset my entire account as if i just signed up for the account. for instance lets say i opened my account, had it up and running for a few months and wanted all the work i have put into it erased so i can start from scratch again.

If you have a reseller account, WHM is included. The part that you have to pay for (if you want it) is WHM Autopilot, which creates accounts automatically. Probably not something you need to get started.

Your welcome email should have your login information for WHM.

As for question #2, I just ftp in and delete everything that I put in there. Otherwise, you could probably get Surpass to delete and recreate your account.

FTP is quicker and easier though.

If you're not sure what you can delete, create a new account through WHM, and then ftp to it (or use the filemanager in cPanel) to see what is there. Leave that stuff in your account, and delete the rest.

I started off with a basic shared hosting account and then upgraded to the supass reseller. I never got a welcome email telling me how to access WHM could you provide me with a link for it? or would i need to contact support for it?

Try going to www.yourdomain.com:2086

It should prompt you for username and password. Put in the ones that you use for your cPanel. Hopefully it'll let you in to WHM. If not, you'll need to email support.

Ok, to get to your WHM, use http://www.yourdomain.com:2086 or http://www.yourdomain.com/whm

EDIT: Double postage!
