Dale, on a personal level: You said yourself the other day you have hardly been on the forum. You return and say threads have been deleted more than usual? That is hardly the case. This forum still receives it's normal 1000+ posts a week. I am not trying to quiet anyone. I don't see how you can say that, but I guess if you aren't me then you don't understand. I have reasons for everything and you don't know of the emails I write to customers behind the scenes, and everything else I'm dealing with because of this forum.
Yes, we have had problems during the past two weeks. Some people have went to other companies, most who do not operate their own data centers and do not have the types of problems that we are learning about now and having to deal with. But one thing is for sure, that we aren't going anywhere and that we are pulling through. I would hope you can stay, Dale. To have you say such things now, really brings a depression over me tonight.

Kayla, every business goes through ups and downs. It is normal. Growth and success can at times be tougher then failure for a business. Now that surpass might be hitting a rough patch you hear all the whiners come out. Don't get depressed you still have loyal customers like me and others. I've been with surpass hosting for almost 2 years and I still believe surpass hosting does a great job and offers a tremendous value. If Richard and Dale believe they need to move on then so be it. I know this company is going through some growing pains but as far I'm concerned you have earned the benefit of the doubt in my book and I know this will pass and surpass will continue to deliver great services at great prices. Don't feel depressed you've all done a great job. Remember you can't please everyone. You might loose customers but you will gain even more down the road from all surpass hosting is learning right now during the tough times. I haven't noticed any problems with my sites but even if I was experiencing problems I would not jump ship after the great service surpass has provided me for nearly two years since I know you all would be working hard behind the scenes to make things right. So cheer up this will pass and surpass will emerge an even better and stronger company then before.

Kayla, I know of the emails, I myself have recieved them myself. I know you tell the creators of the thread why it's been deleted, but it would be nice if the entire community knew. Have you considered just posting the reason in the thread? Delete the posts in there and just replace the original post with yours. I also don't wish to dwell over the posts issue as that's not my biggest concern, it actually doesn't bother me much at all. I know it happens, life goes on. I have a few other things going on. Also, about my not being ont he forums for a while, that's true. I wasn't here for a solid week, but I checked in quite a bit the week before, though I didn't post at all. That was what I mean when I said I had been gone. I had to sign in, check PM's and take care of the people in here that needed some help. Should I decide to leave surpass, I still plan on poking in on Surmunity to help out other people where I can, though it wouldn't be as frequent.

Alan, you are absolutely correct, you can't win them all. However, I'm not completely certain I'm leaving. I said that I've just about made up my mind, I'm still going to give it at least another month before I decide. I want to see how things go. If it works out in a month, I will stay, if not, I go. Kayla, please do not take this personally, I in no way mean this against you. You have been a tremendous help, I do thank you for that.

I don't wish to post my reserves here, because as I said before, I don't want to sway anyone... and... I may end up staying here, I'll see what happens.

kayla, I'm also emailing you something later (I may not get around to it until tomorrow), it'll explain a few of my issues. If you would like me to that is.

- Dale?

I completely agree with Alan's posts in this topic. I think Surpass is great, and dealing with and adapting to the recent issues of past weeks wonderfully. Surmunity is one of the most open communities I have ever been a part of. And I commend Kayla and all the other wonderful admins for doing such a great job here, keeping this organized and helpful. If I had only a bit of your patience I would be a lot better off. I plan on being here for many more years.
