Why??

Tossing out all the posts dealing with Sunday night's downtime doesn't make the problem go away, nor the dissatisfied clients (both yours and ours).

This is not merely deleting threads that may be redundant or inappropriate, this is simply pitching the entire issue out the window.

I left Hostdime a while back partially because of how they "policed" the forums and partially because of the continuous downtime. Is Surpass falling into the same quagmire?

Yeah I think it's kind of stupid that you guys deleted all of our posts related to downtime. We should be able to discuss what was happening, and we were being normal in wanting to know what happened.

Are you guyz talking about downtime... again?

No offense but this is the xillionth thread about it. They appologized, they wrote a whole post about it and they gave us a free whole month free for compensation. So I don't think bringing up this issue again and again would do anything...

The issue of downtime isn't what they are talking about.

Did you read it? It clearly says we are upset with the fact that they deleted our posts.

Is this what you're talking about?

10:30 P.M. EST

Since I wasn't paying attention to my sites or Surmunity last night, I missed it. That post doesn't tell me if either of my servers were affected and I don't see any server announcements detailing downtime.

Were my sites down? I guess I won't be finding out from the community.

C'mon Surpass - don't sweep stuff under the rug. You could have merged the threads instead of deleting them.

Yes...assassinating hackers...but that would be bad.

No, the only thing you can really do is prepare for them knowing they will probably happen some day...
