Angry What is going on??

I e-mailed this to support, but lately my emails aren't going through to Surpass, so I'm posting this here too.

I've sent several e-mails the last few days, but nothing seems to be getting though. I am having some big issues with my domain. I logged into my FTP the other day to see that everything I had uploaded in the past month or so was gone, and my site had reverted back to the way it was back then. All my databases, everything were reverted back a month or so. I had some back-ups, so I managed to get things back to somewhat-normal. Today I was working on uploading stuff, and everything was fine, but now anything I upload is not showing up on the site, nothing is changing when I modify it. I left for like 10 minutes and when I came back, all the stuff I had uploaded was gone. I am really getting irritated, and I can't seem to get a hold of you guys no matter how many times I try.

My domain is darkness-falls.org

If you have email problems, you should be emailing support with an off-network address. Other than that you can use the helpdesk directly(http://desk.surpasshosting.com) and keep track of your ticket that way, it works fine.

It sounds like to me you might be uploading with a wrong IP address. But you are on the server Lucky and I don't see how that could be, nothing has changed.

Try uploading using this as the FTP address:

lucky.surpasshosting.com

and see what happens.

OK.. did you recently upgrade your account to a reseller? I am also showing your account as being on server Pass10, a reseller server, address pass10.dizinc.com

Your website is currently pointing to Pass10. Not Lucky. So I need more details at this point from you.

Yes, I did recently upgrade to a reseller, so that's correct, and I am using an off-server e-mail to send support e-mails. Uploading isn't really the problem now, I just don't understand why my stuff all dissappeared and everything I had deleted came back... that caused me a lot of trouble.

Most of the time we don't move an account to a reseller server if they upgrade from a shared, since it can cause problems like this. I think you were uploading with the IP address of Lucky and then your DNS propagated to Pass10, where your changes weren't located.

Well, I guess that would make sense. Would it normally take that long to propogate? I upgraded to a reseller quite a while ago.

Not to butt in on this or anything... well, not really butting in because this is my friend we're talking about here ( ), but this is ridiculous. I have heard all of her problems in the past couple of days, and she is being a LOT nicer than I would've been in this situation. Not so much as an apology of overwriting a whole bunch of files that she had worked hard on, and now has to re-do.

I would assume an apology would have been through the past support tickets, this situation is totally new to me here on the forum and I know nothing of it.
