full backup (cpanel)

I want to do a full backup to a remote ftp server, what is the difference between the two choices?
1. Remote Ftp
2. Remote Ftp (passive mode)

What files will it creat in the target server?

Is SQL database going to be included in the backup?

How long to backup a 200 meg host? I tried this from another server but its been 8 hours and I never did get an email indicating its done and on this server there was no extra file.

1. = Active ftp transfer
2. = passive ftp transfer

i'm not really sure of any ftp's that require Passive modes, but some might, thats i think its pretty much a preference thing. I like active because it tends to go faster. And no i dont think your SQL will be included, best to back it up seperately. My disk space is about 300 megs i think, (i dont back up to an FTP though, i back up to the server then just download the file) but it normally dosent take over 10 min's
