Increase mysql connections - how?
Okay, my friends site was attacked with a http flooder, and his site got suspended for having over 200 sql connections, now I banned somebody and my site got a sql error saying too many sql connections, so how can I make it so more sql connections are accepted. A http floder adds more threads to the sql database. I will check back in one hour and if its still down, I will post saying if its still donw, so please do not suspend my account. I will post in one hour if its down or not.

matt - first off if you're getting hacked step 1 is to email support.
point 2 theres a hard limit of simultaneious mysql connections per account. that limit can't be increased unless it's a dedicated box. also - please update your signature with your site/server name. thanks. |

Yes, I'd be very interested to see what server he's on and when this problem started.
