I am probably going to get hacked
There is someone on the internet that disagrees with my opionins and has stated that he is going to "wreck my site." If/when he/she does, what measures can I take to stop this from happening again. What can I do with the info (ip) that i get from this attack. I have downloaded a back-up, but I would like to send a message to him not to mess with our servers. Any suggestions?

It won't happen if Surpass is your host
![]() You can try blocking his IP from your site, but if he really wants to hack it he'll get around that. You should report him to Surpass, they can get something sorted.

Don't forget the following rule: A true hacker never admits he can hack.
There's no need to worry. Just forget about it and everything will be fine. First of all, the worst he can do is inject sql. Which is itself isn't the easiest thing to do. I see you are using WordPress, which is extremely safe compared to what an beginner programmer can create. Just keep your site updated if you still feel that he is a threat to you. But like I said, don't worry about it! |

By the way, I like your tag "American Idiot", but I prefer "Franco Un-American" |

A suggestion, make sure none of the files on your hosting are chmod 777, that'll make them basically an open book. Especially check config files you needed set to that in order to set up your site, because that is the easiest way for someone to get access and "hack".
