I am not sure if I really did something major here. I just deleted my .htaccess file from the public_html directory on accident. I thought I was in my forum directory. I have not edited that file so its the same one that ws originally installed.
Does anyone have a copy of the "factory" installed .htaccess file? By not having this file will my site act wierd? Since there weren't any edits to the file I am hoping someone may have this Thank you for your help! |

actually, i think they can ruin things quite easily, heh. just screw up the syntax in a .htaccess file, and you'll get an 500 - internal server error.
anyway, i think this page provides a good discussion of .htaccess files: http://www.javascriptkit.com/howto/htaccess.shtml |
