rem7

Hello... I was going thru the forum, and as for the search string "URL Masking" there is only one thread. and a couple for htaccess. This threads talk about leaving the adress always the same, for example. If a user goes to http://www.mysite.com/about.html the site bowser bar will display http://www.mysite.com if a user goes to http://www.mysite.com/faq.html the browser bar will still display http://www.mysite.com.

I have two domains registered. www.rem7.com and www.zutme.com, how ever, I want www.zutme.com to have its home at www.rem7.com/zutme (and display www.zutme.com) but is if a user goes to www.zutme.com/about.html (in this case www.rem7.com/zutme/about.html) I want it to display www.zutme.com/about.html.

I don't know if I make my self clear as it sounds a little bit confusing. But, could anyone tell me if that is even possible?

If I understood you right, this will work.

You can do this with an addon domain. What you need to do is go into the Cpanel of "rem7" and create a folder called "zutme". When that's done, click on the "Addon Domains" link. Put in the domain name of zutme.com, the sub-folder "zutme" and give it a password.

You will have to change the DNS for zutme.com wherever it is that you reg the name at to point to the same DNS that you have for rem7.com if I'm not mistaken. Try the url before changing to make sure about it.

This will give you the url of www.zutme.com but it will be pointing to www.rem7.com/zutme. People that go to the zutme.com site wont be able to see the rem7.com in the location bar, just the zutme.com and any links that you have under that.
