hosting w/ ftp
I wanted to be able to host a few people through my site, but I'm new and I'm not sure the process I would go through. I use WS_FTP to upload. If anybody could tell me what was involved with creating new FTP accounts, passwords, etc, I'd really truly appreciate it!

The easiest way to host people is with a reseller account. It makes everything simple, because you can give them their own everything (cpanel, ftp, mail, databases, etc).
If you want to do the ftp thing though, you just need to make ftp accounts for them. They will only be able to get to their folder, but they won't have access to cpanel unless you give them your password. They won't have access to making databases either unless you do it for them. |

Follow up on what David said. If you have a reseller account, you can determine how much space and bandwidth they get. If you give them ftp access to your site, they can use whatever space and bandwidth that you have, which might not be a good idea.
