Another hosting question

Sorry to bug you all, but I have one last question. My hostee tried logging in using the information I gave her and it keeps saying that the host is unknown. My domain is http://www.lady-victoria.net, the numbers are 72.29.76.31, her directory is torriewilson so I'm assuming that the address she used to sign in is either:

ftp://ftp.lady-victoria.net/public_html/torriewilson or ftp://72.29.76.31/public_html/torriewilson

but neither work. Does it matter what FTP program is being used or should it just work for everybody? I'm using WS_FTP and she's using SmartFTP. Help would be soo nice!

If she's logging in with an FTP client, or even a browser, she should only be using ftp://ftp.lady-victoria.net

There's no need to add the additional folder information as it will automatically take her to where you've specified her to go.

I've never had any luck logging into FTP using that address, what I use for browsers:

ftp://username%40domain.com:password

ftp.domain.com

As for FTP clients, ftp://ftp.domain.com should be sufficient.
