Another hosting question
Sorry to bug you all, but I have one last question. My hostee tried logging in using the information I gave her and it keeps saying that the host is unknown. My domain is http://www.lady-victoria.net, the numbers are 72.29.76.31, her directory is torriewilson so I'm assuming that the address she used to sign in is either:
ftp://ftp.lady-victoria.net/public_html/torriewilson or ftp://72.29.76.31/public_html/torriewilson but neither work. Does it matter what FTP program is being used or should it just work for everybody? I'm using WS_FTP and she's using SmartFTP. Help would be soo nice! |

If she's logging in with an FTP client, or even a browser, she should only be using ftp://ftp.lady-victoria.net
There's no need to add the additional folder information as it will automatically take her to where you've specified her to go. |

I've never had any luck logging into FTP using that address, what I use for browsers:
ftp://username%40domain.com:password ftp.domain.comAs for FTP clients, ftp://ftp.domain.com should be sufficient.
