I just recently checked my Administrative email account on my website... and found 5586 Cron job notifications...

It has cron jobs for every 15 minutes.. and every single one said this:

Subject: Cron <taikenamuy> lynx -dump 'http://taikenanime.net/calendar/tools/send_reminders.php' > /dev/null
From: "Cron Daemon" <rootmuy.surpasshosting.com>
Date: Wed, June 29, 2005 4:15 am
To: taikenamuy.surpasshosting.com

/bin/sh: /usr/bin/lynx: Permission denied

Any ideas? Is there a way to stop this?

In the mean time im going to see what I can do in Cpanel...

Ok i think i just solved it (hopefully) by deleting TWO jobs running every FIFTEEN minutes in the Cron Job section in cpanel. I dont remember setting these, as I have not played with Cron jobs nor have I any Idea what it does. I still dont know what it does, anyone care to explain? And what is lynx?

As far as I know, Lynx is a text-based browser within Linux installs.
