Not completely related, but will Scripta continue to be updated in the future? Just that if it isn't, I'll probably have heaps of trouble updating phpbb etc in the future.

You still have scripta? All of the machines are supposed to be converted over to Fantastico eventually. I just got it on Pass5 about a week or two ago.

I don't trust Scripta or Fantastico for installation of anything. I always looks for the latest version on the scripts homepage.

That's the same way I am. I only use it when I want to test something because of bad results I've had in the past.

Einstein, 2 things.

1) your post nuke site is giving me this: Problem in Database Connection
2) your own phpbb board reflects an older version number.

1) Haven't had time to fix it.
2) Version number is old ... every security patch is made. I'm to lazy to change the version number. My version isn't pure phpBB so I do updates by hand.

I have fantastico as well. But I also still have the scripts library.

And I installed phpbb when we were still all using Scripta.

The only way I can update my phpbb is through scripta, as when I go to fantastico, it says I have no phpbbs installed.

Edit: Well it's not exactly Scripta, but the 'Scripts Library'

Ah, thought I'd check just to be sure. I just went on an emailing spree to soundclick and mp3.com (since they both have old version numbers as well). I'm going to rid earth of this exploit. It is my mission.
