I didn't see that either. Sorry about that. Fortunately it got people's attention this time around though.

As previously mentioned, if you're phpBB board is using the latest patches, you're OK. Otherwise, get those patches in, I'd rather not hear anyone getting their site attacked by this worm/virus.

I want to add. This patch is the MOST IMPORTANT, if you're in a hurry and haven't time do all patches at a time:
http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=240513

This is the one used be the worm and by a lot script kiddies.

we've had reports on xoops.org that this worm can affect ALL sites on a shared host (so not only those that run phpBB with the vulnerability), how's this with Surpass??

let me get this right in my head Herko...if one person on the server has phpbb, everyone one that server can suffer because of this? i wonder if that has anything to do with the problems that came up yesterday with several sites.

Wow. If that's the case *opens Cpanel* I'm going to make some back-ups just incase. Could be interesting if that was the cause.

Any reported incidents happening to anysites hosted by Surpass yet?
