Change .htaccess file to process SSI
I want to update an existing site to process Includes and don't want to change the .html file extension to .shtml (don't want people to loose their bookmarked links).
I read that I can add the following text to the .htaccess file which will allow .html extensions to parse includes: AddType text/x-server-parsed-html .html Since this is an excisting site, before I do this, will there be any side effect to the existing pages that I need to be aware of? |

No, there won't be any problems. Just make sure you type it correctly or else you will get a site-wide 500
.
