I really dont know how to go about this because I recall reading that surpass does not allow any kind of streaming whether it be video or chat, I would like to use something like YouTube or something because it converts your vids into streaming flash but I don't like that the files arent stored on my webspace and theres a fat YOUTUBE watermark in every video.

Any suggestions?

I haven't heard of them not allowing Streaming. It used to be listed as one of the selling points behind the plans available. Now, shoutcast streaming isn't done. That's different. That's basically a radio station sitting on the server. But as for streaming out files, I don't think they are against it as long as it isn't resource intensive. Either way, the file will end up on the client's machine. The only difference between streaming and downloading is that you see the video rather than a big dialog box.

As for changing it to flash, I don't know how you'd go about doing that. Perhaps there are scripts on http://www.hotscripts.com that will do it.

see demo:

Our DLnow YouTube Clone demo runs on dreamhost(you can check that IP),it works very well.... (we have bought a hosting from surpass,we will install a new copy on here for demo, cos surpass is great):

i ran ffmpeg on my site dublee.com for Gallery2...
what you actually need is a precompiled linux binary for ffmpeg which you upload to same place as your public_html...

Structure:
/public_html/...
you need - /ffmpeg/...

here this might help:
http://gallery.menalto.com/node/51420

not sure if it's the same version i used before but should work...
