I'm using the Advanced Guestbook that came with my Surpass account, and for the past two months or so it's being hit 4-5 times daily with spam entries.
They seem to be mostly coming from the same server, beta.servers-serving.net, but I can only ban IP numbers within the guestbook admin. Is anyone else having this problem, and do you have any suggestions on how to get rid of it without having to move to a new guestbook? Thanks, Lindsay |

The server ip of servers-serving.net is 205.234.98.21 you can ban that IP.
Or you can contact them you find info on the following url: http://whois.sc/servers-serving.net Maybe they don't know what's going on.

You're not gonna be able to block it all.. eventually Google will index your guestbook, and spammers will find it just by searching.
The only good way to fix this is to use guestbook software that allows you to approve or block entries as they come in.

That will solve the issue of one spammer.. but as soon as the others catch on to it, he'll be in for attacks from dozens of IPs.

I would suggest using a better guestbook script, perhaps one with image verificiation for posting and better admin controls.
