Cannot Find server

I don't know if this is in the right place so I'm sorry.

When I got to my site I get the "Cannot Find Server" page, same with my cPanel and hostees. And I can't log in to FTP. Why is this?

Your probably on the SH88 server, which is completely down now. I'm on the same server and I'm having the same problem.

How do I know what server I'm on?

If the IP of your server is 72.29.83.160 then you are on the SH88 server. Other than that, I just went to the Shared Hosting Notices, and they have them listed next to the server names.

72.29.83.161 is the IP, so I guess that's right.

Has anyone on SH88 contacted or heard from support what is going on and when they expect the server will be back up? It would be nice if they would post something in the Shared Hosting Notices. It's been down over 6 hours.

I submitted a ticket three hours ago about this and I got this reply an hour and a half ago:

Hello,

The server was rebooted about 30 minutes ago, and an admin is still actively working on getting everything back up.

Hopefully everything will be back to normal soon.

Hopefully it won't be down for too much longer. Otherwise, I'm going to be even more annoyed than I already am.

Does anyone know if we will lose anything?

Oh, and will we still be recieving the mail we got during this downtime period?

You should not lose any data with a reboot. And mail should still be delivered, the sending server usually will try multiple times to send over a period of time
