page down no email, plz help

My page has been down and times out when trying to access it for at least 20 hours. I'm not sure which server my account is on, the domain is j1simon.com. All servers show green so I'm not sure where the problem is coming from.

I just did a nslookup on j1simon.com and found that (at least from here), it is resolving to the ip address 66.194.238.6

None of Surpass' shared servers have this IP address, so you might doublecheck your DNS settings where you registered your domain name and make sure that you have the right information for Surpass' nameservers there.

Exclamation I've got the same problem

Unfortunately, I'm not sure which server I'm on either. And of course, I can't check because its down and won't respond. Catch-22.

When I looked up soundacious.com, I received the response "No A Records Were Found" so it appears that there is a problem with your DNS entries as well.

My domain is through surpass domains and my hosting is definitely surpass so it should be resolved to a surpass IP

All I'm saying is that I looked up your domain name and got the IP address of 66.194.238.6 and when I looked on this page: http://www.surmunity.com/shared-hosting-notices/ I couldn't find any shared server with that IP address.

Doublecheck that you have the right nameserver entries associated with your domain name. You should have gotten an email from surpass telling you what IP addresses (and optional server names) you should use for the nameservers so that your domain name resolves to the correct server.

If this is a new account/new domain name or a transfer from a different domain registrar, it can take up to 72 hours for DNS to resolve completely.

If all of this stuff is set up correctly, then you should probably open up a helpdesk ticket.

I did open a ticket with the helpdesk about 3 hours ago but have yet to receive an answer. I have owned the domain and shared hosting for over 18 mo's w/o any large problems before and have not been contacted by surpass at all, unless they emailed me to the accounts I can't currently check. I appreciate your help and don't mean to sound impatient, I just need to check my email!

Likewise.

I just checked my dns registrar, and the nameservers listed are ns7.vivar.com and ns8.vivar.com. Are those no longer valid?

Also, another domain on the same account, johnvoorhees.com, is registered with surpass. What's the story with that one?
