On your dedicated you might have /~username/ disabled, and, do not have PHP configured to read server files, when using a standard call.

You can place the serverload.php file in your server http folder,

/usr/local/apache/htdocs/

and call it by using: http://your.server.name/serverload.php

(FYI: your.server.name = dns reverse lookup when you ping your IP.)

If it still does not run, double check your script. This folder will run anything.

I'm not sure if this is the easiest, but you can do a tracert to your domain. On a Windows machine open a DOS window and type...

tracert www.YourDomain.com

The last line will report your Server name like

servername.dizinc.com

Thanks, Rick.

If your domain is already pointing to Surpass, you can find out by putting your domain into the search box on this page:

(in case anyone is wondering, the high ping times are because of my wildblue satellite connection)

From another server, it doesn't return the server name either

66-7-202-21.static.dimenoc.com IS the server name.

* means timeout. Longer than the 4 second default.

use tracert -w 8000 to increase timeout to 8 seconds (or increase to any amount in miliseconds).
