Question apache going down causes

I just spotted this message in my WHM

Quote:
Unable to obtain apache version information. Your apache server at 72.29.89.160 may be down, or unreachable.
What would cause that? Backup maybe??

Has my sites down at the moment. I am now wondering it this is what has been taking my sites down in the past now.

I sure wish Surpass would pull their head out and keep things working. 6 hours later I wake up to the same message there and sites down.

I guess I have to waste my time and send a ticket to support and have them tell me they see nothing wrong!!

WOW! they actually found and fixed the problem.
But won't really be impressed till this becomes a norm again like the first year.

This dag blasted issue is back again. I sure wish they would get off their butts and find and fix this crap once and for all!!!

Anyone else experiencing anything like this? I've about given Surpass about all the chances I care to now.

I wonder what the apache logs have in them just before it dies... maybe point to a certain script file or something. Think there's only been one Apache hiccup on mine that I was aware of.

Hopefully they can figure it out.

Well I've had about enough. One more incedent after a year of this and I think it will be time to go.

Surpass is cool but I just can't deal with this crap anymore. Stresses me out to much when I don't know what is going on.

And I agree with my shrink. Best thing to do with crap is flush it down the toilet. Shoot I think he got that from me in the past.
