Dedicated Sale

Aw, the one of June 2006 was wonderful! My first server, my first love.

Well, long story short, I kept it till September 2006 and then I had to downgrade cause of financial needs...

However, I'm ready for another start! So, I was wondering, will we have another wonderful dedicated sale anytime soon? That would be glorious! An event wehre I will definitely play part in! Yep, just like the last one, I'd be one of the (if not "the") first one to sign up! However, this time I will keep the server!

So, any idea as to when another will come? Emmanuel mentioned a possible Dual processor sale last fall, but I guess the manufacturers didnt have a deal good enough for Surpass. But, is there any plans or so?

If a sale would come, I'd say somewhere from late Summer to the End of 2007 would be a great time.

I'd love to signup during a sale

Surpass already offers everyday low prices compared to the competition! I think the idea of sales is that they entice people to buy more than they actually need at that moment because of the momentary low price -- I better grab this really good server because this price is fantastic and won't last and I'm sure I'll find a use for it this year -- (and from Surpass' point of view a lot of these customers that pick up a sale server or account probably don't use the resources that someone who bought what they need at everyday low prices would use but rather the sale entices the customer to buy resources to have plenty because of the great deail. )

So, don't have a sale? Heh, I can always wish. Just because Surpass has great server prices doesn't mean one can't wish.

But, anywho, if I was to buy a non-sale dedicated, it'd be for long term. And by that, I mean I'd possibly go colocation. Or if it is a personal site that grows in popularity, I'll just lease.

Is this a hint? I was curious so I asked for Eman in a support ticket regarding it (as a sales ticket of course) and he repied:

Derek,

We will plan something for July 15

This sounds good. Remember though, Surpass has all rights to change plans, but nice he gives a update I love you Eman :O In a friendly way of course :P
