server very slow

www.narutosector.com - very slow
www.tomhuveners.net - faster
both on same account.

How's that possible?

http://www.narutosector.com/ makes a bunch of calls to a MySQL database, whereas the other site is just a page with an image on it. Can you make your MySQL requests more efficient?

Have to agree with removed on this one. Those queries are very very slow.
Not a server issue I would say, but more of a bad query.

RJN2000,

All looks well on the server and I was able to browse your site from my desk as well as an outside proxy. When you say the site goes down, what errors do you get??

Regardless, I will monitor the server with any information that I can find.

Site is down for me, timesout and gives:

"This program cannot display the webpage"

tracert seems to be fine, sh112 responds to it. Something might be up with httpd since the name resolves, looks like DNS is fine.
