Fair enough. I am sending the issue to a certain genius of our staff who has not yet actually stumbled across your ticket. Hopefully he will be able to solve the mystery.

If you can't see the problem, nevermind. Please. For the love of all that is holy, for the sake of my friggin sanity ... NEVER-FRIGGIN-MIND, mmmkay?
Clue: "WordPress has the same issue, therefore the problem is with ExpressionEngine." Reading the WHOLE thread here, including discussions elsewhere FIRST, is a huge help in being clued in |

I did read the whole thread.
Perhaps I was distracted by the mountains of swearing and abuse directed at everyone that has tried to assist you in this matter. My bad :]

OMG my head is going to explode. I can't stand this anymore! Seriously ...
Heh ... did ya'll know that an .htaccess file has the ability to change the server's Http Code response from 200 to 304? Or, send a 200, but only send the header and no body content? And it can do this to a particular crawler, while allowing all others to crawl correctly, yet no where in the .htaccess is that particular crawler named or is its IP address listed! I'm amazed too! It must be server gnomes! |

I was more than patient with Surpass support for weeks, it was when they started feeding me the BS that I lost it. Same kind of BS I have been getting from Google. It must be nice to be able to sit there and judge without all the facts .... |

I would assure you that the support guys were trying to help, and may have had a bit of trouble understanding just what the issue was. Sometimes it takes a bit of work just to communicate the issue.
