I want to delete the awstats folder because it's taking up space, can I do that safely? I would like to do a backup first, but is there a way I could view the Awstats on my computer instead of online after I backup? I mean, is there a way to just download logs once a week and then delete it from the server, but be able to look at it on my computer just like I would through cpanel? I'm not sure if that's possible...
These stats go back a couple years so I don't want to just save them and not be able to use them... what would be the point? |

The awstats directory really shouldn't be eating up much disk space, especially since the actual logs are rotated on a regular basis... How much is it using on your account?

There's no way that I know of to completely duplicate the logs and view them on your computer. If you want to save disk space, you can simply delete all the files in ~/tmp/awstats/ that match up to this filename: awstatsXXXXXXX.yourdomain.com.txt
